Job Description:

You will manage the operation of the Studio and Facilities Department, including figure maintenance, figure experiences and launches, the technical upkeep of the attraction, health and safety and brand scores. The role includes overseeing a team of studio artists and technicians, in addition to working closely with the Operations and Marketing Teams.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist in new figure launches and experiences
  • Managers are responsible for all aspects of Health, Safety & Security within their team
  • Manage annual studio budget, purchasing for studio related items and finding cost saving solutions
  • Oversee shipping needs for figure, such as coordinating the transit company, packing & securing and communication
  • Maintain studio environment and storage, including materials, wardrobe, working stations, figures, etc.
  • Work with global partners and the US Figure Maintenance Manager to ensure all figures are maintained against global brand standards
  • Oversee a team of studio artists and technicians; set schedules, objectives and project timelines as well as cross training among all cores in figure maintenance
  • Oversee overall facilities and technical aspects within it
  • Work directly with the US Figure Maintenance Manager to develop weekly & monthly action plans and ensure completion

Job Requirements:

  • Experience of 2-4 years in a manager or supervisory level in a performing arts or similar studio environment
  • Experience in the following fields: oil painting, costume repair and design, plaster, hair styling or wig repair
  • College degree, preferably in an art and/or related field, or equivalent experience
