Job Description:
The primary responsibility of the Annuity Service Rep 3 is promptly and accurately processing client and agent requests using a host of administrative systems. The Rep 3 is also expected to research simple to complex scenarios and handle highly escalated situations utilizing various resources to access a situation and determine appropriate course of action. They act as a liaison between Annuity Operations, agents and clients, handling corrections through the core process units and communicating the resolution to customers verbally and/or in writing. They are responsible for drafting correspondence regarding contract history and corrections that have been processed. In many cases, the Rep 3 is a resource for other associates in Annuity Operations. The Annuity Service Rep 3 is expected to conduct themselves in a professional, business-like manner at all times when interacting with MetLife customers, agents and co-workers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Submit corrections to be processed by core processing units
- Communicate resolution and expectations to internal and external customers
- Pro-Active customer centricity focus is required
- Special projects to be determined as needed
- Identify root causes and trends
- Cross-train across franchises and post issue to effectively balance workload
- Navigate systems
Job Requirements:
- High School diploma
- Organizational skills
- 3 or more years of customer service experience
- Ability to work well under the pressure of working against strict quality and performance guidelines.
- Problem solving, research and resolution
- Strong phone, customer service and communication skills
- Bachelor degree preferred
- 2 or more years of annuity experience preferred
- MS Office software
- FINRA Series 6
- Process Improvement
- Strong knowledge of MetLife products, procedures and processes.
