Job Description:
As an L & D Professional you will be responsible for the technical design and delivery of quality blended learning solutions that are highly engaging and effective ensuring they meet both the needs of the business and the learner whilst being market leading and technology enabled. Some key aspects of the role are providing expert learning design consultation, facilitating creativity sessions and storyboarding, instructional design and build, and evaluation of the success measures.
This role sits within Retail Distribution and Servicing (RD&S) which consists of our branch network, contact centres and digital servicing teams who all provide legendary service to our members every day. This is a new role within our Learning & Development team who design, curate and deliver learner and member focused training solutions and are a dedicated support for all channels within RD&S
Job Responsibilities:
- You’ll also support the design manager to identity software and technical skills needed to ensure we stay current with an eye on what’s needed for our future capability as a team.
- You’ll work closely with your fellow Creative Design team as well as other colleagues across Learning & Development who look after all learning needs for Retail Distribution and Servicing.
- From consulting with internal colleagues to identify problem statements and success measures, you’ll be responsible for ensuring our learning solutions are the best they can be for our learners, positively impacting member experience and driving the future of legendary service.
- You’ll be creative and innovative exploring market leading blended solutions and scope projects from inception through to delivery and evaluation.
You’ll be working with your team to continually coach, develop and grow our skills for the future and ensure our solutions are market leading and ahead of the game in terms of experience for our learners.
Job Requirements:
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Your values, and what makes you who you are
- Recent use of relevant software skills is a must which will need to be demonstrated at interview
- Experience in social-collaborative learning methodologies
- Extensive experience in the application of Instructional Design, developing and designing emerging learning solutions with the ability to convert problem statements into effective and engaging learning experiences
- You will need working knowledge of Oracle, our Learning Management System (LMS), as well as experience using learner experience platforms (LXPs) – preferably Degreed, including the ability to design solutions that enable hosting on these platforms
- Expert working knowledge and experience of industry best practice authoring tools and an ability to build digital assets with graphics and image software, audio and video files. Experience of Adobe is essential, including Illustrator, Indesign, After Effects and Premier as well as Articulate Storyline
- Experience of designing learning content and activities appropriate to the context of the mobile user
