Job Description:

To manage a designated team, plant and materials in a culture of performance monitoring, review and action, open communication, employee involvement and employee relations, continuous improvement in support of achieving organization purpose and objectives

Job Responsibilities:

  • Execute Teams development program that will provide appropriate flexibility of team and assets. Focus on material availability, finished goods quality, and on time delivery through optimal resource allocation
  • Lead a continuous improvement/employee involvement culture through NCE approach. Drive for excellence and support operators and staff in their tasks
  • Ensure ongoing smooth operation of factory through employee and industrial relations
    Stock taking, PO management – release / teco,MORC, Variances
  • Ensure that Bulk and finished products are consistently manufactured meeting prescribed standards (compliant), on time and meeting consumer expectations
  • Effectively manage the WG’s , ensure exchange of information (cascade Target/escalate issues) for alignment with the objectives in the short term and LLT’s for Short and long term to achieve production plan and to identify and achieve performance improvements.  Motivate, guide, support and coach the resources to achieve objectives and to act in accordance with NCE guidelines.
  • Maintain a safe working environment in compliance with the local laws striving for Zero accidents through continuous coaching on safety behaviours

Job Requirements:

  • 3 years experience as in Production
  • Diploma/Degree/Btech in: Food Technology, Production management or Engineering or equivalent experienc
  • Experience in change management
  • Problem Solving Maturity to be at minimum White Belt or equivalent
  • Successful in leading line improvement projects (e.g. Capex, PTC, Product improvements)
