Nike Summer Internship – Learning & Development Specialist

Job Description:

As the L&D Specialist, you will partner to activate, communicate, deliver and evaluate learning and development programs and experiences across Nike INC. and directly to those that sit in NA DC’s. You will have input to WHQ/NA L&D delivery roadmaps and activity. Your insights will craft L&D strategy and solutions, and drive awareness of and engagement with learning for all employees.

Job Responsibilities:

• Partner to adapt global solutions where needed to meet local needs, following globally consistent L&D practices
• Partner in the effective go-to-market of new programs and drive awareness of and engagement in L&D offerings across Memphis and NA DC’s
• Continually find ways to improve the learner experience through best in class leading-edge delivery techniques, whether in person or virtual
• Partner with L&D teammates to consult and identify & prioritize learning needs – sharing these insights to craft the global L&D strategy & roadmap
• Facilitate face-to-face and virtual L&D programs and solutions across Memphis network and other NA DC facilities when needed
• Contribute to the planning, activation, and delivery of the WHQ and North America L&D programs and experiences in partnership with the WHQ Delivery and Partnership teams and NA L&D teams
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of the learning delivery calendar & DC delivery process
• Share feedback on the facilitation experience to continually improve program design
• Manage NA DC delivery program budget where appropriate
• Manage all program logistics while partnering with WHQ/NA Coordination team and site partners
• Use groundbreaking facilitation techniques to ensure effective learning outcomes

Job Requirements:

• Ability to communicate at all levels in the organization
• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s Degree in Organizational Development, Education, Business, Human Resources, or related field from an accredited university, or a combination of demonstrable experience, education, and training
• Experience in pedagogy, practices & trends in learning delivery & partnership
• 3+ years of demonstrable experience delivering L&D programs, including On-Boarding experiential facilitation, within a leading global consumer brand
