The software engineer will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing applications that support critical financial/accounting functionality for Nordstrom Job Responsibilities: Develop & optimize Oracle’s Merchandising Operations Management Suite v14.1 to support Nordstrom’s Finance Technology capabilities Makes decisions which influence and impact the success of cross-team initiatives Resolves complex engineering problems, collaborating with others Strive for continuous improvement of code quality and development practices Anticipate system/application challenges and proposes solutions for the same Works in a DevOps model to own the end to end solution from development to delivery and support Collaborates with cross-functional teams - business stakeholders, engineers, program management, project management etc. to produce the most optimal solutions Work in a true Agile environment where all team members are expected to own the solution including deployment, testing, quality, monitoring and operational excellence Develop PL/SQL packages, shell scripts and web services per functional and technical specifications that meet business requirements and Nordstrom guidelines & standards Takes accountability for resolving specific issues within a particular area, application, technology or system Desire to have full ownership of the entire SDLC from conception through build and deployment, to ongoing production operational support (all team members are expected to take an on-call shift to support our systems 24/7) Develop modern, large scale RESTful Micro Services and modern web-based integrations, tools, applications, dashboards & reports for use by internal business & tech teams in a fast-paced retail environment Design and build distributed systems & APIs that integrate with a larger merchandising retail ecosystem Implement & Support Oracle’s Retail Management System, Retail Invoice Matching (ReIM) v14.1 Job Requirements: Deep familiarity with CPA, CPC, CPM, and LTV Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills Positive attitude with ability to work independently as well as collaboratively Proven ability to successfully manage internal and external partner relationships Proficient in Excel, experience with Google Analytics and Tableau are a plus 4-6 years’ experience in digital marketing, inclusive of programmatic display, video, and native advertising Previous Experience in Performance / Growth Marketing at a DTC Brand preferred Working knowledge and mastery of Programmatic Display Campaign setup, management, bidding strategies and optimization techniques Experience with Google Display Network, DV360, Gemini, TradeDesk or similar Results-oriented and data-driven mindset with a highly analytical view of A/B testing, optimizing customer acquisition costs, and analyzing campaign performance Job Details: Company: Nordstrom Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Los Angeles, CA, US Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here vacancyoptions.com
