Progressive Employment – Business Systems Analyst Lead

Job Description:

As a business systems analyst lead in our Enterprise Data Solution organization, where you’ll serve as a liaison between business groups and IT. In this role you’ll work on projects for Progressive’s data governance initiatives. Your role will be to understand the businesses needs in addition to defining system requirements, conducting research, storyboarding, prototyping and data flow analysis. You’ll work on innovative projects impacting our customers, agents, and employees.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to investigate, assess, and recommend solutions to moderate to complex situations.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies including Agile or Scrum and compliance/regulatory standards.
• A high school diploma or GED or higher, the completion of a technical training program, and a minimum of six years related work experience in requirements gathering activities or; high school diploma or GED and eight years of related work experience in requirements gathering activities
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in an Information Technology discipline or related field of study and six years of related work experience in requirements gathering activities
• Understanding of industry tools and techniques to elicit, prioritize, organize, document, model, and analyze requirements.
• Proficiency in personal productivity software, as well as visual information management tools including MS Office, SharePoint, Azure DevOp
• Systems and infrastructure knowledge of the application supported and the technology that supports the application.
