Job Description:
As a claims adjuster trainee at America’s #1 commercial auto insurer, you’ll learn how to help customers get back on the road after an accident. Primarily over the phone in a fast-paced office environment, you’ll build relationships with customers owning small businesses or commercial product policies while managing the claims process from start to finish. Bring your passion for helping others to our team and we’ll teach you the insurance stuff – providing in-depth training on property damage and insurance contracts so you can confidently and independently adjust claims.
Job Responsibilities:
- Partner with appraisers/estimators to manage vehicle repairs
- Determine liability (who’s at fault for the damages)
- Interview customers, claimants, and witnesses
- Negotiate with customers and other insurance carriers
Job Requirements:
- Strong customer service skills
- Position that developed or required the ability to think critically, solve problems, effectively communicate verbally and in writing, and embrace new challenges
- Bachelor’s degree or five years of relevant work experience and/or post-secondary education
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
