Job Description: As a lead field claims adjuster on our Home & Property team, you’ll successfully and efficiently resolve large-loss, high severity claims valued over $75k. In this role, you’ll investigate complex, high risk claims which includes assessing damage and coverage. Ensuring claims are fairly and accurately investigated, you’ll also negotiate settlements with all involved parties. This role may also require attending dispositions, mediations or other legal proceedings. Job Responsibilities: Oversee Personal Property and Contents related to property loss, assess damages, and resolve exposure Identify exposures (increase replacement cost, additional living expense, mold, ordinance and law, debris removal) Determine extent of property loss; estimate repair costs and replacements in accordance with state guidelines This is a national field position. You will travel nationally on a weekly basis. You will not be required to report into an office and can work from home when not traveling.
