Job Description:
The DC Talent Support Manager will be responsible for defining the strategy for creating a best in class Ross’ DC Candidate and Associate experience and culture. This position involves building an environment where Ross Associates can reach their full potential, measuring employee engagement, and championing initiatives that make Ross DCs a great place to work. In addition, this position will serve as the change management and communications specialist for Ross Distribution Centers by creating and implementing communications and change strategies focused on driving awareness around strategic initiatives, improving employee engagement, and building a strong Associate culture.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage new processes and initiatives to drive Associate engagement and retention
- Creating and managing Ross DC’s Candidate Experience:
- Define and update as needed, Ross Distribution Centers’ Associate Value Proposition and Employer Brand in the market focused on engaging candidates during key moments of the talent acquisition process
- Partner internally and externally to create content to showcasing work at Ross DCs to attract high quality candidates and create a strong sense of culture and community
- In partnership with Sr. Director and HRBPs, create a defining vision for the Ross DC Associate experience focused on moments across the DC Associate journey, which incudes, defining, implementing, and managing a comprehensive Associate experience strategy that can be sustained as Ross grows
- Build and champion a DC culture by building programs and experiences that make Associates feel valued
- Creating and managing Ross DC’s Associate Experience:
- Use in-depth interviews and other selected tools/methods to continuously develop an understanding of the current culture, values, behaviors, leadership capabilities, and related organizational infrastructure at Ross DCs
- In partnership with DC Talent Acquisition, build, operationalize and execute a strategy to communicate Ross DCs’ EVP to candidates throughout the recruiting process
- Change Management & Communications
- Lead change management initiatives by building strong partnerships with cross functional teams and applying best practice program techniques, including risk management, business case tracking, & continuous stakeholder engagement
- Develop and execute change management strategies that maximize employee adoption and engagement while minimizing conflict and discomfort with change
Job Requirements:
- Demonstrated self-starter with the ability to own strategic initiatives from start to finish
- Ability to translate high-level strategies into effective culture and experience initiatives that drive value for Ross
- Demonstrated change management expertise, with a track record of managing business transformations or change initiatives
- Deep knowledge of corporate and or employee communications strategies, tools, and methodologies
- Experience independently driving HR strategy and developing employee engagement initiatives at scale
- Hands on experience developing communications strategies
- BS/BA required in HR, business, or relevant field
- 5-8 years of experience in a people and culture or talent branding focused role at a large organization
- Highly effective at distilling complex content into concise and engaging communications
