Job Responsibilities:

  • Ongoing proactive management of stakeholders
  • Manage project scope and change control
  • Defining and agreeing project scope using established tools and techniques
  • Supporting or leading in the securing of investment by providing time, resource and cost estimates together with risks, issues, dependencies and assumptions
  • Project budget up to £2 million (one project or aggregate total)
  • Provision of accurate project costing and ongoing budget reviews
  • Co-ordinate and deploy communication as agreed
  • Monitor project delivery using best practice
  • Produce and agree project plans
  • Management of suppliers to deliver the specified requirements
  • Execute project controls e.g., risk management, change management, issue resolution, progress reporting
  • End to end accountability for project delivery and managing the project delivery process
  • Ensuring that selected suppliers deliver; acquiring and utilising the necessary resources and skills, within agreed parameters of cost, time and quality
  • Act as the bridge between Technology and the business, ensuring project delivery is aligned defined requirements .

Job Requirements:

  • Strong stakeholder and 3rd party (supplier) management
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage challenging situations and time critical activities
  • Excellent people management skills, able to manage upwards and influence in a complex environment
  • Demonstrable Technology Project Management experience with a strong technical awareness to manage projects with a high degree of technology content
  • Demonstrable experience of successfully leading Technology enabled change projects
  • An understanding and appreciation of how the architecture, policies and governance are applied to delivery of a Technology project
  • A team player who embraces collaboration and supporting other members of the team
  • Ability to work with demanding internal client base and complex external supplier base
