Job Description:
- The District Manager, Sales is responsible for supporting sales operations for a specific District with approximately $9 million in annual sales, installing over 2,000 projects, and over a 20 person sales team operating in the district. Also responsible for continued growth of the company’s sales within the district office they support while maintaining acceptable profit margins by establishing and following guidelines as communicated by management . Activities include managing their District associates, improving sales force efficiencies in their District including increasing number of leads per salesperson, managing their Districts workforce, and working with leadership in developing and implementing short and long term strategies to increase sales while improving member engagement. This position will also partner with the Production team for successful installation of the member’s projects
Job Responsibilities:
- Manages their District sales workforce and improves sales force efficiencies in their District including increasing number of leads per salesperson
- Adheres to relevant Home Improvement sales prospects and programs; enforces sales strategies and processes, and assists with field implementation of sales processes
- Monitors District Profit and Loss (P&L) operational expenses and drives processes and procedures contributing to plan fulfillment
- Grows the company’s sales within the district office they support while maintaining acceptable profit margins by establishing and following guidelines as communicated by management
- Works with leadership in developing and implementing short and long term strategies to increase sales while improving member engagement
- Audits contracts to ensure accuracy with established procedures and signs off on sales, ensures that all post appointment followup calls are completed and reports the results to the Lake Mary MAC, reviews reports pertaining to
- job completion tracking and takes appropriate action to address
- Ensures monthly targets of sales, quality, and service are achieved consistently in a manner consistent with company and legal/ ethical standards
- Verifies the accuracy of appointment dispositions provided by SPCs, and for ensuring the completeness of all supporting documentation. Ensures that the appointment value for the assigned products meets or exceeds the planned revenue per appointment targets
- Partners with the Lake Mary MAC and associates for assigned district to influence desirable results for the district
- Performs supervisory functions, including but not limited to, making employment decisions regarding hiring, promoting, demoting and terminating, conducting performance appraisals and coaching and developing associates
Qualification & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5-10 years of related experience
- Valid Driver License for the State of employment
- Up to 25% travel
- 18 years of age or older
- 4-year college degree
- Thorough knowledge of Sears Home Improvement business systems and procedures
