Job Responsibilities:
- Monitor all areas for safety hazards, including fire, theft, and vandalism
- Control resort access, checking vehicle permits and scanning ID badges for team members, vendors, and contractors
- Write detailed reports of damage, maintain incident logs, and complete security records
- Work closely with Safety and Loss Prevention partners and may be called upon to perform roles within those areas.
- Maintain ride queue lines, sending line jumpers to the back to ensure an efficient boarding process
- Patrol and inspect assigned areas of the resort
- Escort guests and team members as needed for assistance and protection
- Enforce resort policies and procedures
- Keep unauthorized personnel out of restricted areas
- Interact with guests providing directions and assistance
- Greet and screen guests utilizing metal detection and other screening tools
- Rapidly respond to active alarms, first aid, and other emergency situations
- Work alongside law enforcement and other emergency service providers
- Protect employees, guests, and company property
Job Requirements:
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Able to lift, carry, and balance heavy loads
- Successfully complete background pre-screening
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to obtain a New York State Security Guard License
- Physical qualifications to stand, walk, stoop, bend, and reach throughout your shift
- Must be 18 years of age or older
