Job Description:
The Director, New Business Development is responsible for the holistic performance within each Non-Traditional channel. This position will develop growth strategies within Subway’s Non-Traditional Global portfolio as well as establish, own and grow relationships with Partners, Business Development Agents and Foodservice Contractors.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage pipeline of openings, closures, and remodels and help incentivize, problem solve, and trouble shoot projects to deliver Net Restaurant Growth and Image targets
- Lead & manage the Account Management team developing short, medium- & long-term growth strategies within each Non-Trad channel
- Play instrumental role in developing restaurant model of the future
- Own Partner Relationships through conducting structured Business reviews & resolving partner issues
- Work closely w/ the Sales Operations & Innovation teams to drive continuous improvement
- Being cross-functional in nature, work closely with other functions within the organization including: Development,
- Operations, Franchise Sales, Finance, Marketing and Global Region leads
- Lead Global Development initiatives through pitching growth strategies and campaigns to existing and new Non-Traditional Partners
- Improve and own communication strategies internally and to Franchisees
Job Requirements:
- Ability to sell a business case to any layer of the business
- Strong ability to sort, manipulate and tell a story with data
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
- Ability to influence others: selling concepts, visions and methodology
- Ability to figure out the root cause of a problem, create action plans, formulate strategy and drive performance
- Have 8+ years of overall experience
- Strong presentation skills
