Ted Baker Careers – Fraud Analyst

Job Description:

A key objective of the role is to keep online fraud transactions to the minimum acceptable percentage level for the company in all territories.

The fraud analyst role also requires ensuring the quality, accuracy, completeness of available data and responsibility for leading the alerting process; Investigating online orders that enter the fraud queue and accepting/declining transactions. While analysing low-risk orders, identifying potential fraudulent trends that could bypass the system.

Job Responsibilities:

• Contact customers for further information regarding order data for security and legitimacy purposes.
• Cancel/Stop potentially fraudulent or suspicious orders from being delivered by proactively reviewing accepted high risk orders.
• Provide weekly reporting of Chargeback percentages and defend rates – all territories
• Actively monitor ongoing chargeback rates and alert stakeholders of any anomalies or Payment Service Provider risks.
• Ensure online transaction case management volumes are completed and maintained within Ted’s SLA’s.
• Investigate online orders that enter the fraud queue in case management system and accept/decline transactions depending on their risk level.
• Maintain Ted’s PayPal Resolution Centre completing customer disputes for ecommerce orders. Provide relevant data to prevent chargebacks through this channel.
• Performs general Operations duties assigned by Operations management team.
• Provide basic training to CS team members to identify fraudulent behaviours and risk trends in the retail market
• Recognise patterns of Ecom fraud and amend fraud system rules to further the efficiency of our automated fraud system.

Job Requirements:

• MS Office proficiency (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint).
• DBS check would be required.
• Excellent organization skills and strong attention to detail
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.
• Previous fraud analyst experience preferential.
• Preferable experience working with Adyen/PayPal, Ekata and a rule based fraud tool.
