Job Responsibilities:

  • Assess and negotiate IC development tradeoffs with product development teams and customers
  • Stay informed of technological trends in industrial end equipment spaces and identify opportunities to improve performance and add value at the system level
  • Be the application expert to help solve customer’s TI product application or adoption related challenges
  • In this role, you will work most closely with team mates, marketing team, applicaon teams, SEM teams, and FAEs
  • Define and create full and partial reference designs for TI products to showcase TI product capabilities and differentiations and provide creative solutions to customer’s problems
  • Trouble-shoot customer application issues by lab testing, schematic analysis and other methods, as necessary
  • Relentlessly drive new design wins for new and existing products
  • A typical day-to-day in this role is to execute development of creative reference designs or solutions, answer/solve customer’s problems, and or interact with other teams, FAEs or customers. The C2000 team is a great team because of its culture of creativity, problem solving, execution, and teamwork
  • Bring quick resolution to customer problems by interfacing across different functional groups such as design, product, test, packaging, marketing and sales
  • Research and create new product or IP definitions, including developing business case proposals, technical requirements, product strategies and taking products to RTM
  • Some of the people you’ll get to work with include applicaon engineers, marketing engineers, other systems engineers, and FAEs
  • Support and train applications engineers and sales organizations on new / existing refernce designs and solutions

Job Requirements:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong understanding of and experience in MCU and micro processors and their application
  • Strong time management skills that enable on-time execution and result delivery
  • Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
  • Experience in driving design wins by providing system solutions
  • Good MCU and micro processor algorithm and s/w development knowledge and experience
  • Good customer facing skills
  • Good unerstanding of power covnerter technologies and topologies
  • Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
  • Demonstrated strong analytical problem solving skills
  • Familiarity with lab equipment
  • Good unerstanding of analog/mixed-signal circuits
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationships
