Toyota Internships – Marketing & Analytics Planner

Job Description:

The primary responsibility of this role to manage the marketing and promotion of PSE’s digital education platforms, provide strategic recommendations to improve these digital resources based on user analytics and feedback, and collaborate with the digital creative agency on campaign creation and execution. They will also partner with the web developers and analytics teams to determine what data should be tracked and provide insights in addition to working with platform product owners regarding implementing various initiatives and achieving department goals.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Identify and target messaging based on preferred user groups and manage electronic and print campaigns
  • Review creative proposal from creative agency, approve content and deployments in alignment with budget, oversee development and deployment of new user and non-user drip campaigns, and leverage marketing campaign metrics for continuous improvement
  • Develop and launch Engage Weekly newsletter by selecting news-worthy content for weekly communication to marketing and regional team members, identify additional promotional media and user audiences, and support Toyota Engage visibility at Toyota events including but not limited to National Dealer Meeting and Train-the-Trainer events
  • Lead Sales Team research and feedback for Engage platforms by creating and implementing qualitative and quantitative surveys, partner with Consumer Insights team to facilitate web-based user experience studies observing users’ native website navigation behavior as well as focus groups representing a rich sample of sales consultants, and identify resources for market data such as white papers and syndicated research on the correlation between product education/training/ onboarding and employee performance and retention
  • Increase awareness and user retention of Engage platform
  • Develop Engage marketing campaigns and messages and communicate business needs to the creative agency for new campaigns

Job Requirements:

  • Proven relationship building skills with ability to collaborate with key stakeholders, vendor/agencies, and internal cross functional teams
  • Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Understanding of analytics, analytics reporting, research goals and practices used to generate unbiased information
  • Ability to be a problem solver with ability to build rapport with others
  • Demonstrated experience in traditional and/or digital marketing and campaign development
  • Experience providing guidance and insights derived from reported data
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
  • Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) or equivalent professional work experience
