Job Description:
The primary responsibility of this role is to support assigned Business Unit(s) (BUs) and Human Resources Business Advisors (HRBAs) with all HR/talent management-related matters, including, but not limited to: talent acquisition/hiring process, team member relations, training and development, performance management, organization and job design, job descriptions and titling, job levels/job evaluation process, compensation administration, and the team member off-boarding process.
Job Responsibilities:
- Partners with Compensation Team for job level and other compensation-related matters
- Partners with HRBAs to understand and build workforce plans for assigned BU(s), including identifying current state, future state, gaps
- Uses seasoned HR expertise and BU knowledge to improve processes, workforce engagement and performance, and work outcomes; uses seasoned HR expertise and BU knowledge to improve processes, workforce engagement and performance, and work outcomes
- Works with HRBAs and BU senior managers and managers to communicate and implement “Toyota One HR” talent management programs, policies, and processes
- Reviews and analyze talent review data to provide insights and recommendations, leads performance management calibration across business units
- Provides both standardized and more broadly defined/high value-added research and analysis, advise/counsel, mentoring/coaching
- May manage and/or coordinate small and mid-size projects or oversee project teams; projects may be standardized or more broadly defined
- Supports all compensation strategy initiatives, partners with HRBA and Compensation Team on on-going reward mechanisms, reviews monthly reports, and assists managers as necessary
- Support assigned BU(s) with all HR/talent management-related matters, including, but not limited to, talent acquisition/hiring process, team member relations, performance management, compensation administration, and team member exit process
Job Requirements:
- Knowledge and understanding of employment policies and practices
- Excellent consultation and execution skills
- Solid experience in Human Resources
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Human Resources, Business, or closely related field, or equivalent professional work experience
- Experience with compensation strategy and administration
- Talent management experience
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 15% of the time
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Strong communication skills (verbal, written, presentation)
- Knowledge and understanding of employment/labor laws
