Job Description: The TFS Legal Department is looking for a passionate and highly-motivated Senior Paralegal with experience providing legal and compliance support in the areas of: sales finance company licensing, DMV licensing, securitization trust licensing, and consumer regulatory compliance. Reporting to Managing Counsel, the primary responsibility of this role is to work with the originations team by providing legal support in the areas of licensing, state regulatory compliance, consumer contracting, legislative tracking, and funding support. Job Responsibilities: Other accountabilities essential for the job: Work collaboratively with team members. Meet regular performance expectations. Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance to support team and business objectives. Apply for, maintain and renew company lease, retail, dealer, insurance and securitization related licenses and trade name filings necessary to conduct various entity business in 49 states and Puerto Rico. Prepare annual reports and other notice and informational filings required by regulators. Respond to other regulator requests and questions regarding the preparation of our licenses, renewals, annual reports and other reporting and disclosure requirements imposed by regulators. Supervise work by outside counsel relating to the foregoing. Assist group attorneys with editing of forms, e-contracts, updates to policies and procedures, retail installment and lease agreements, desk guides and ancillary product forms and agreements. Capability to work flexible hours, which may include day, evening and weekend hours as required to complete necessary job functions. Ability to be at work on time, to return from breaks and lunch periods on time and to leave the work area after the end of their scheduled workday (applicable to jobs subject to attendance policy). Job Requirements: Experience working collaboratively and inter-departmentally with all levels of the company. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook). Automotive experience. Experience with TeamConnect, NetDocuments, and ChangePro applications. Experience working in a fast-paced environment and with high volume workload. Strong verbal and written and communication skills. High School Diploma/GED (or higher). Paralegal certificate. Experience providing legal and compliance support in sales finance company licensing, securitization trust licensing, and consumer regulatory compliance experience. Experience using NMLS. Ability to travel up to 5-10% of the time, if not less. Four-Year College Degree (BA or BS).
