Job Description:

Provides technical supervision including product delivery, day-to-day coaching and feedback. The incumbent will not be responsible for the supervisory administrative duties of performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, selections, leave approval, promotions and pay changes.

Job Responsibilities:

• Identifying business critical internal and external information and knowledg, its usage, availability, and the needs of various constituencies.
• Modeling information sources, flows, and critical paths.
• Ensuring business system integration, minimizing data and process duplication.
• Determining and evaluating system alternatives to meet business needs.
• Developing conceptual data and process designs/data flows.
• Documenting business processes through interviews, joint application design sessions, and data mining.
• Developing systems requirement documentation that can be translated into systems specifications.
• Creating working prototypes to aid in requirements gathering and verification.
• Conducting cost/benefit studies for system development or implementation projects.

Job Requirements:

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and coaching skills.
• Ability to qualify for an ADP II Security Clearance, if necessary.
• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business administration or related field of study, or equivalent experience, training and education is required.
• Several years of experience in business /data process and techniques and in designing and delivering effective oral and written presentations.
• Demonstrated competence in requirements analysis, functional and detailed design.
