Job Description: Univision is seeking a talented Teleprompter Operator based in Miami, Florida to operate a Teleprompter. Job Responsibilities: Clean and inspect teleprompter hardware including monitor and reflective glass prior to broadcast Perform other related duties as assigned Connect, set up and strike portable teleprompter units in remote applications Check closed captioning of recorded or live broadcast if necessary Operate teleprompter by loading and running the script while following the talent Job Requirements: Ability to multitask and prioritize Ability to work effectively with others in a team environment As this position supports a 24x7 operation, candidate must, in addition to being able to work regular hours, have on-call availability, and flexibility to work days, nights, overnights, weekends, and holidays as needed and without advance notice. Additionally, candidate may be required to work on site for extended periods of time to provide coverage in special circumstances, such as, during tropical storm/hurricane Must be willing to work from facility in Miami, Florida Employment/education will be verified Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States Qualification & Experience: Associates Degree in Television Production or equivalent work experience Working knowledge of computers and Windows operating systems Bi-lingual (English and Spanish) 1-2 years of experience with live studio broadcast Comfortable with all aspects of the production Perform well under pressure and breaking news situations Excellent organizational skills with acute attention to detail Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent listening skills Job Details: Company: Univision Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: Ft.
