Job Description:

  • Univision Chicago Local Media is looking for a candidate who is well connected in the market, is an incessant client solutions provider and is a dynamic business developer all wrapped into one.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the competitive landscape, including local and national properties across all platforms (digital and television)
  • Achieve all monthly and quarterly individual station budgets set by sales management for Univision Chicago’s TV and Digital properties
  • Accurately forecast individual quarterly revenue and understand sales process
  • Work with Account Coordinators and accounting team to ensure accurate contract entry, billing and accounts payable/collection workflow
  • Develop trust and deep client/agency relationships so you are the first person they contact when thinking about a media strategy
  • Exceed results in a fast paced, resource-conscious environment with a creative style and a strong work ethic, vision and integrity
  • Be on top of relevant market trends (domestic and Hispanic), client needs, expectations and opportunities as well as shifts in the competitive landscape
  • Leverage industry expertise, market trends and deep knowledge of client’s needs to generate extensive client growth
  • Work with promotions and creative teams to build high impact integrated campaigns to drive client objectives / ROI

Qualification & Experience:

  • Education: BA/BS Degree
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding revenue goals
  • Overall Minimum Experience: 3 – 5 years’ media or related industry sales experience
  • Experience working in and navigating a large-scale complex organization
  • Must have media sales experience
  • Deep understanding of client/agency relationship
  • Extensive experience creating, negotiating and executing cross-platform media and content partnerships
  • PASSION, borderline obsession for digital and television
