Job Description: Univision Local Media in San Antonio is currently seeking an Activations Technician. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, be bilingual, and have a flexible schedule. The Promotions Technician is responsible for set up of promotional items, banners, tables, tents and sound equipment for remotes, special events and station appearances. Interface with clients, listeners and the general public during off site promotional activities. Remote technicians must be able to collaborate creatively with the Sales & Promotions staff. Job Responsibilities: Follow all station promotions policies and guidelines Other duties as deemed necessary Provide customer service by ascertaining the client needs before any event Maintain, organize, and perform routine inventory of all promotional remote and station equipment Greet listeners and distribute prizes to winners Pick up after event and load equipment and promotional items in vehicle Maintain vehicle and promotional item appearance at all times Enter promo announcements in Wide Orbit when directed by promotion manager Assisting in the carrying out of station in-field promotions Drive station vehicles including oversized trucks and vans Conduct on-air announcements in Spanish from remote or appearance locations. Assist the On-Air Talent and Sales Executives with on-site requests, contests, prizes etc. Job Requirements: Must be highly motivated, assertive, creative, and proactive Must be able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends and holidays Must have excellent interpersonal/customer service skills Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook Must have a valid Texas driver’s license and a clean driving record Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish (read, write, speak) Qualification & Experience: High School graduate, or equivalent Previous experience in similar position Knowledge of digital social media Must be willing to work from office in San Antonio, TX Employment/education will be verified Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis Job Details: Company: Univision Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: San Antanio, TX, US Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here vacancyoptions.com
