Victoria’s Secret Beauty is looking for a Senior Regulatory Specialist to join the team! This role will provide regulatory leadership support to the successful development and commercialization of consumer products, to include cosmetics, OTC drugs, household products, and/or accessories, with an emphasis on technical regulatory compliance in USA/Canada/EU markets and sustainability initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Engage regularly with regulatory agencies and industry trade associations to influence rulemaking activity and predict future regulatory trends.
  • Review new product concepts and categories, provide guidance, and help build project plans to support newness and innovation with a focus on sustainability.
  • Monitor trends in regulations, standards, and industry guidelines, and help evaluate relevance to company and product interests. Assess potential impacts and draft action plans to proactively mitigate risks associated with evolving trends.
  • Provide regulatory presence and input to cross-functional partners in support of product development and commercialization.
  • Through regulatory research and monitoring of regulatory initiatives, communicate compliance recommendations to other members of Regulatory Affairs and to cross functional partners as appropriate.
  • Communicate emerging trade association activities and/or governmental monitoring to regulatory team.
  • Actively engage with internal cross-functional teams, manufacturers, and suppliers.
  • Monitor government/regulations within area of accountability.

Job Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail, especially over extended periods.
  • Fast learner who embraces and effectively adapts to change.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field; a degree in chemistry, biology or life sciences is helpful, but a background in legal or regulatory affairs is also relevant.
  • 5-7 years’ experience with regulatory compliance in a consumer goods industry (hardline/Softline accessories, cosmetics and cosmetic drugs preferred).
  • Demonstrated ability to understand, explain, and apply consumer product regulations in a customer-centric way that still maintains high level of compliance.
  • Thorough knowledge of regulations, enforcement, and industry practice relevant to marketing cosmetics, OTC drugs, household products and/or consumer products.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Highly skilled at multi-tasking and effective prioritization.
