Job Description:

As an Innovation Lead, you will work within one or more multi skilled agile delivery teams, partnering with teams across the business to take new products and strategic priorities from idea through to implementation.

You will set the direction for a multi-disciplined team across the professions and provide a framework and experience to lead the innovation ensuring the scope and wider organisational landscape are considered. You’ll be embracing digital design principles and ensure that we focus on and address digital opportunities in all innovations and strategic priorities. At all times you will make sure there is an unrelenting focus on delivering value to the customers in support of our business objectives and strategic priorities. Once the innovation is scalable and able to be maintained, you will hand it over to the relevant business owner.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Providing coaching and collaboration to instil a culture of innovation across the Partnership.
  • Leveraging insight and internal and external networks, as appropriate, to keep abreast of key customer requirements, market conditions and trends, including technological advancements, and feed these into strategic thinking.
  • Help teams to define elegant solutions for complex and potentially high value Business opportunities.
  • Utilising innovative methodologies and strategies to design, build and test new innovations ensuring they progress rapidly from idea to implementation.
  • Setting clear intent, direction, guardrails and a framework to achieve outcomes, aligned to the Partnership’s strategic priorities.

Job Requirements:

  • Demonstrated delivery of solutions for multiple, varied customer-facing projects.
  • Deep experience of delivering complex business projects involving cross-functional expertise with a technology component
  • A track record of bringing innovation to a business project
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence others internally and externally
  • Extensive experience in leading cross functional matrix teams
  • Experience in designing and implementing systems of work on a number of teams and projects across a range of organisations and industries.
  • Advanced skills and experience in lean and agile techniques
  • Automation of unit and functional testing of Javascript.
