Job Description:
This role will give the successful candidate the opportunity to be involved in developing and growing a robust Business Support function in the Commercial Distribution Finance (CDF) EMEA Operations department. The candidate will be part of a UK based team working closely with the CDF EMEA Commercial department to support the overall business success.
The responsibilities include but are not limited to; workload distribution between team members, and oversight of team workload; supporting team member 121s and year end reviews under the supervision of the Operations Manager; identifying and driving efficiencies within this small and already efficient team; reporting out metrics to key stakeholders; focussing on governance, risk & controls, audit support, and operational risk resolution. (Note: In addition to these functions, employees are required to carry out such other duties as may reasonably be required)
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead on reporting of metrics to key stakeholders.
- Take a lead on work relating to governance, risks identification and control implementation.
- Build in depth knowledge of all Program Services processes to identify and deliver simplifications, efficiencies and process improvements.
- Oversight of projects and report outs relating to key projects.
- Oversight of team workload ensuring work is distributed fairly between team members allowing SLAs to be met.
- Conducting weekly 121s with Program Services team members, and supporting the end of year review process under the supervision of the
- Operations Manager. Escalating any development needs, concerns or feedback to the Operations Manager for review.
- Support cross-functional training and best practice within the Operations Team.
- Willingness and ability to work flexibly within a time-bound environment, prioritising and balancing tasks and activities to ensure externally driven timescales are adhered to.
- Undertake monthly Quality Assurance checks of key tasks, providing the EMEA Operations Manager with overall accuracy rates, any required corrective actions and recommended process improvements.
- Proactively share and reach out for best practice across other CDF Operations teams globally to enhance the customer experience and automation, leveraging equivalent teams in the US and other regions.
- Key point of contact for all operational risk escalation and resolution.
- Point of contact for audit support, including providing in a timely manner all documentation, supporting walkthroughs and any follow up actions.

- Strong communication and influencing skills within the team & wider business and developing relationships at all levels. Ability to work flexibly, share ideas and challenge self & others. Effective written communication, providing appropriate content dependent on purpose and audience.
