Job Description: As a senior supplement claims adjuster on our Home & Property team, you’ll ensure first-party homeowner supplemental property claims are fairy and accurately investigated. You’ll be reviewing and collaborating estimates while negotiating with contractors on damages. In this role you’ll handle high severity and weather-related property damage claims. Job Responsibilities: Determines extent of company’s liability Estimate cost of repairs, replacement or compensation Approve and adjust estimates of damage and loss amounts Take on leadership or training responsibilities Use varying methods of investigation including taking recorded statements, consulting with police, inspecting property damage and reviewing documents Job Requirements: Adjuster 620 License required within 30 days of hire Instead of a degree, seven years of work experience in one of the fields noted above, at least five years of which must be in property & casualty insurance claims Instead of the above, an associate degree and six years of work experience within financial services, customer service, construction, property management, or related field; at least five years of which must be in property & casualty insurance claims Bachelor's degree or higher and at least five years of experience within property & casualty insurance claims Job Details: Company: Progressive Insurance Vacancy Type: Full Time Job Location: St. Petersburg, FL, US Application Deadline: N/A Apply Here vacancyoptions.com
