We carry more than 96 million passengers annually, over 1000 routes across 36 countries. We lead the industry in data, digital, web, engineering and operational innovations, to make travel more easy and affordable for our passengers. We take sustainability seriously, and we are the first major airline to operate net-zero carbon flights across the whole of our network. easyJet has been decisive in meeting the challenges presented by the current pandemic by cutting costs, reducing our capex while retaining our fleet flexibility and securing an additional £2bn in funding. After grounding our fleet in March, we successfully resumed operations in mid-June, incorporating new enhanced bio security measures to ensure our staff and customers can fly safely. We will gradually ramp up our flying to around 75% of our routes in August, albeit with lower frequencies, so our customers can travel again. Job Responsibilities: Ensure all transactions made by front office are in line with the Treasury Policy Ensure the accuracy and completeness of the Bank Reconciliation process Ensure accurate and complete daily transaction postings for treasury related payments are entered into the general ledger Highlight and escalate control deficiencies or breaches Assists with the cash flow forecasting process by actualising forecasts and providing accurate opening cash positions. Perform the EMIR derivative monthly reconciliation with counterparty banks Derivatives are confirmed to within required timescales Perform all regulatory tasks are completed within agreed timeframes. Assists in the maintenance of the dealing mandate Ensure all treasury related payments are made accurately and on time Ensure all derivative types are confirmed on a timely basis within SLA’s Ensure collateral on tri-party repo is in line with the collateral basket Ensure bank receipts are received to the correct amounts and on time Make sure the Bank Reconciliation is issued on time and has clear commentary on any unreconciled items Qualification & Experience: High degree of numeracy Good organizational skills – structured approach. Strong attention to detail Strong intellect and is either a graduate or a part qualified accountant in ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent qualification. At least 2 years of accounting experience Strong Excel skills Sound commercial judgement Ability to deliver - drive and energy to achieve objectives. Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines and capable of managing numerous work streams at the same time.
