Job Description: Coordinates and processes company payroll. Reviews and calculates wages, tax withholdings, and company deductions. Calculates and reviews payroll payments and payments for terminated, laid off, and resigned employees as well as contributions to retirement accounts. Ensure the timely and accurate payment of employee paychecks, invoices due and Job Responsibilities: Calculate, coordinate, and prepare reports on employee pay, commissions, bonuses, vacation, sick, disability, workers compensation leave, taxes, separation payments, and withholdings Identifies and resolves highly complex payroll issues that are non-routine or off schedule such as manual checks Applies various rules, regulations and policies to determine accurate employee pay and accruals Analyze and monitor business processes, procedures, and systems Process wage adjustments through various state and federal organizations Will perform other duties as assigned Development and implementation of Compliance Checks and Control points following corporate regulations Responds to inquiries and requests for information in a timely manner Lead and coordinate payroll provider and benefit provider (including third party vendors) Coordinate and process payroll and benefits on a regularly scheduled basis Validates data, identifies discrepancies and errors and calculates and reconciles variances Process daily and weekly employee changes within the organization including requests for paycheck advances and processes terminations amounts Prepares and reviews documents for accuracy, verifies and audits data, determines appropriate codes, identifies and calculates overtime payments, coordinates collection activities and reconciles work schedules Job Requirements: Knowledgeable of administrative practices and procedures as well as laws, regulations and guidelines pertaining to employment, wage and hour, labor relations, etc. High level or organization and time management skills Ability to deal tactfully with all types of personnel.
