Looking for opportunities to leverage data to improve mental health and wellbeing outcomes for a population? The Aetna Mental Wellbeing Customer & Strategic Insights team delivers customized and impactful insights and recommendations that strive to positively affect the wellbeing of the diverse customers we serve.
Job Responsibilities:
- Analyzing and stratifying population profiles, spend, and utilization patterns to define recommendations for more targeted behavioral health services and product offerings
- Managing various workstreams and initiatives end-to-end
- Generate intelligence about our members & customers, their care patterns, and key drivers that to inform prevention strategies and care pathways across the mental wellbeing continuum
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical audiences to ensure strong data quality, stakeholder management, and customer rapport
- Leverage data and information to derive key insights that shape business priorities and impact mental health outcomes for our member populations.
- Demonstrating a strong grasp of advanced analytical tools and languages (e.g., SQL, Tableau) to analyze, generate insights, and visualize data from multiple robust sources
- Supporting development of data infrastructure and pipelines to organize, collect, and analyze data to better generate insights and address reporting needs across programs, products, and platforms
- Fundamental components include:
Job Requirements:
- Master’s degree in data science, business analytics, epidemiology, or related discipline
- Proficiency and applied experience with analytical languages (e.g., SQL, SAS) and reporting tools (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau, and Microsoft Suite)
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with cross-functional teams
- Experience with and/or passion for the healthcare industry
- 2+ years in business analytics, consulting, computer science, or other relevant field
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, analytics, IT, business, healthcare, data science, or a related discipline
