The eLearning developer provides technical expertise, solid front-end coding skills and innovative thinking to ensure world-class learning experiences for our team members. This role is part of the Learning Solutions team and is responsible for designing and developing digital applications and tools in support of a variety of training and talent development programs

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain currency with evolving development technologies, industry trends and research
  • Create custom code and interface elements
  • Provide technology support for deployed training programs as needed
  • Collaborate with instructional designers to enhance and/or modify existing course designs and storyboards
  • Ensure projects proceed in a timely manner and deadlines are met, utilizing project management tools and maintaining open communication with stakeholders and team members
  • Use technology and multimedia appropriately to enhance training
  • Consult with internal customers regarding design, development, and revision of their training products

Job Requirements:

  • Experience working with a Learning Management System (SumTotal)
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience
  • 2 years of experience with front-end development tools/frameworks, including: HTML/5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular JS, Bootstrap, AJAX, Mobile standards
  • Knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies
  • Experience working with rapid content development tool(s) such as Articulate Storyline, Rise 360 and/or Vyond
  • 2 years of experience with UX/UI development and design
  • Use course editor software to create multimedia training materials in SCORM format
  • Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Animate
