Job Description:

The Associate UX Design Producer supports design project roadmaps and works in association with Producers, Designers, Design Leadership, and our cross-functional partners to ensure everything is on track and risks are mitigated.

In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day producing of design projects through direct and indirect facilitation of the design processes. At times, this may involve planning, prioritizing, tracking, coordinating, and presenting design activities. It will also include leading action items, following-up, establishing milestones, and ensuring issues are accurately raised. Your outstanding organizational expertise and focus on the details will help drive design forward from initial prioritization and project kickoff, through execution and delivery.

Job Responsibilities:

• Facilitating and driving design projects to completion
• Representing Design’s perspective in different contexts
• Project prioritizing and timeline estimations
• Empowering Designers to focus on their core responsibilities
• Supervising and reporting status; crafting documentation and leveraging project management tools/software for efficiency
• Leading project dependencies and mitigating risks
• Looking for, proposing, and implementing process improvements
• Handling incoming and outgoing project communications, facilitating meetings, and handling issues
• Ensuring projects follow a clearly defined design approach and process
• Ensuring Design’s insights are taken into account and advocating for Design need

Job Requirements:

• General knowledge of UX design practices, lifecycle & activities, technologies, and disciplines (user research, interaction design, information architecture, visual design, service design, and front end development).
• Broad base of strengths spanning time management, organization, communication, technical writing, and relationship building
• General knowledge of key concepts used within design including strategy, technology, planning, and the software development lifecycle
• Experience supporting teams who have taken digital products or services from idea to launch
• 2+ years experience as a Producer or Project Manager of user experience design for digital products (web, mobile, iOS, iPadOS, macOS)
• Comfort with ambiguity and a desire to help others
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Experience working within an Agile environment
