Job Responsibilities:

• Design, build, execute and analyze test scripts & test results for mobile and web applications and REST APIs as part of ongoing sprints
• Track and report quality assurance metrics per work stream
• Design, develop and maintain functional, regression, integration and end-to-end test cases, along with defect management
• Identify, debug and define defects and communicate with the product and development teams on defect triage
• Review system requirements and design documents and implement test cases that meet agreed-upon quality standards and design expectations
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality processes
• Work closely with the development team, product team and other partners including the offshore QA team supporting testing efforts including:

Job Requirements:

• Hands on experience with a programming language like Java
• Hands-on experience testing REST APIs using tools like Postman
• Ability to provide end-to-end solutions to improve software testing quality and coverage
• Experience working with teams to determine quality assurance parameters and improve QA processes
• Working knowledge of continuous integration
• Ability to conceptualize and understand traffic flows and relevant touchpoints for a software application and platform end-to-end
• Strong analytical and critical thinking including:
• Experience with tools like Jira and Confluence
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) with at least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience
• Strong experience in manual testing of native Android/iOS mobile applications, web applications, and REST APIs including:
• Experience with native UI test frameworks (XCUITest or Espresso) is a big plus
