Job Description:

To support and assist in the development/production of the Global Flavor of the Month (FOM) program as well as additional market specific/seasonal flavors and other new menu items that includes ice cream and beverages.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and research culinary trends in the dessert category on an on-going basis to continue to bring new ideas to the innovation pipeline
  • Responsible for producing and ordering supplies to support ice cream photo and TV shoots
  • Recipe content development using ice cream to support social media posts
  • Assist with multiple projects at once and be able to meet/exceed expectations and deliverable timelines
  • Work with innovation team members to help create new menu items to fill the innovation pipeline
  • Assist in the development of Global Ice Cream and Beverages
  • Work with team members to plan and execute tastings internally and off-site, both domestically and internationally
  • Maintain existing and develop new supplier relationships to keep the tool box full of new ideas and solutions for ice cream and menu innovation
  • Leads all inventory management and general lab & equipment maintenance

Job Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years experience and general R&D laboratory experience
  • Excellent communication (oral and written), documentation, and computer skills and be able to use them within all levels of the company
  • Experience with menu development and implementation a plus
  • Have a good knowledge about food and the ability to taste and evaluate ice creams and other sweet treat desserts
  • Experience in the QSR industry a plus
  • Culinary and/or Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science preferred
