Job Description:
Reporting to the Human Resources Director – Stores and working in partnership with the local HR Business Partners, the Regional Talent Acquisition Associate serves as a resource for Bed Bath Beyond Stores by providing support in candidate generation, proactive development of candidate pipelines, resume / application review and screening /interviewing. The primary focus of this role is on Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager and Supervisory level roles within the store’s organization. While this can be a remote based role, selected candidates will be required to be located within one of the following metropolitan areas including: Chicago, Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Atlanta.
Job Responsibilities:
- Partners with the HRD and HR Business Partners in the development of applicant sourcing campaigns / online career fairs to support peak hiring periods and specialized recruiting needs for store roles.
- Identifies new sources to positively impact candidate flow including diversity and military sources, internet, cold calling, networking internally and externally, industry directories, etc.
- Schedules in-person interviews as required using pre-determined interview dates and times established with the facilities
- Ensures consistent utilization of selected screening / interview guides to consistently improve the quality and required position qualifications for assigned roles.
- Consults with leaders, hiring managers and human resources team on position descriptions, requisition creation, compensation, and sourcing strategies.
- Thinks “out of the box” and develops creative sourcing solutions for challenging to fill positions
- Responsible to create offer letters, maintain applicant tracking system, recruiting reports and other staffing administration functions as needed.
- Reviews resumes / applications and pre-screen potential candidates.
- Partner with the HR Director to understand the talent needs of the business and develop an effective search strategy to build candidate pipelines for our store’s organization
- Provides a positive candidate experience and ensures positive representation of our company brand and reputation within the marketplace.
- Responsible for facilitating debrief with hiring manager for the disposition of candidates within applicant tracking system
- Serves as a primary resource for store’s recruitment needs by creating and executing sourcing strategies to fuel the candidate pipeline.
- Resume mining on career boards and within applicant tracking system.
- Determines viability for opportunities; recommend viable candidates for interviews.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to demonstrate flexibility and respond quickly to change.
- Four-year college degree preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to interact effectively with recruiting team members, HR team, hiring managers and external contacts.
- Experience with sourcing and building candidate pipelines. Previous experience using applicant tracking systems preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills including ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks.
- Ability to work independently
