Job Description:

Responsible for ordering, receiving and maintaining all food, beverage, paper, cleaning, and smallwares supplies used in the Food and Beverage Division in a safe and secure, organized manner. Responsible for the distribution of all product throughout the park. Responsible for staffing, training and operating the Food and Beverage Division Warehouse in a clean and safe manner. Responsible for the accounting of and reporting of all cost-of-sales for the Food and Beverage Division. Responsible for conducting all inventory counts of food and beverage in the park, warehouse and kitchen areas. Responsible for administering the Accounts Payable invoices of all Food and Beverage Division deliveries. Must work closely with the Accounts Payable department and distributors to ensure that invoices are processed correctly and in a timely fashion.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all product deliveries and that outgoing orders are delivered correctly to the stands in a timely fashion on a daily basis to meet the demands of the business
  • Maintaining and developing relationships with vendors and business partners.
  • Responsible for receiving and unloading trucks, verify accuracy of shipments and ensure the quality or condition of the product being received is safe and acceptable. Ensure that all incoming product is properly received and/or documented and accurately entered into the inventory system
  • Preparing bids for Food Operations equipment, supplies and inventory items.
  • Responsible for the bagging and delivery of bagged ice to the park facilities daily.
  • Ordering and maintaining all inventory levels of food, beverage, paper, cleaning and small-ware supplies used in Food Operations.
  • Responsible for monitoring and enforcing daily operational maintenance and upkeep of all warehouse equipment including the daily safety inspection of vehicles and ensuring all work, storage and service areas are cleaned and meet State and Federal requirements for sanitation and storage of food items
  • Assist in ensuring that proper stock levels are maintained to meet business needs and that stock is properly rotated and within date.
  • Responsible for training staff on proper unloading, receiving, storage, and delivery procedures and to follow up to see these standards are being maintained.
  • Provide break and meal periods to subordinates in compliance with park, state and/or federal guidelines. Support parks execution on scheduling, time and attendance requirements in accordance with scope of the position expectations. Managing a team that requires three shifts during the operating season
  • Leading a team of talented Food Services employees.
  • Working closely with accounts payable to process all food operations invoicing and payments.
  • Assisting with annual planning and implementation of capital expenditures.

Job Requirements:

  • Ability to communicate and follow instructions.
  • Ability to obtain forklift certification
  • Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state of provincial law.
  • Strong organization skills, along with good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ensure compliance of procurement process established by the company.
  • Experience in high food production and multi-unit operations.
  • Serve Safe certified or ability to complete a Serve Safe certification class.
  • Extensive food experience in all aspects of the Food Service industry, including purchasing, production, service, and inventory control.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
