Job Description:
This position is responsible for identifying, sourcing and presenting new Checkers’/Rally’s restaurant sites. This position works closely with both Company Operations and Franchisees to proactively identify and negotiate locations that will support successful, high producing restaurants.
Job Responsibilities:
- Establishes and manages relationships with franchisees, vendors and staff
- Maintains the strategic market planning process for sales and development to meet or exceed development and opening goals.
- Ensures successful franchisee relations and communications with Restaurant Support Center
- Creates systems and manuals to support company and franchisee site selections of new Checkers/Rally’s locations.
- Develops and maintains the appropriate tracking systems in order to supply opportunities for sites to appropriate franchisee networks or company development.
- Revises and maintains the site approval and handoff processes.
- Provides input into the appropriate site model for both traditional and non-traditional venues.
- Initiates, expands, develops and maintains close, productive and resourceful relationships with peers, Franchise and Company Operations
- Leadership, Franchise Sales and Administration staff, and Construction staff.
- Develops a site pro-forma template.
- Ensures the delivery of brand standards in all areas of Real Estate
- Creates and manages any new site volume estimation models necessary for appropriate site selection.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Ability to regularly stand for extended periods of time, talk and hear.
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- Ability to frequently use hands to finger, handle or feel.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, Guests and the general public.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages and volume.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office suite and Internet software and other systems and technology.
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret written information such as procedure manuals, Company communications or governmental regulations.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.
- Highly skilled in planning and budgeting
Qualification & Experience:
- Over 5 years experience with site selection and real estate management
- Bachelor’s degree from a four year college or university
- At least 5 years real estate experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
