Job Description: The Engineering Technician I is an entry level role that primarily required to build and deploy production equipment and benches to our manufacturing floor. This technician also provides support on data tracking, time collection, audits, preparing work instructions and collaborates on special projects. Job Responsibilities: Validates and provides input for trials and projects; implementing change Ability to perform his/her daily duties following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Sequence Of Events (SOE) and other related documentation Familiarity with 5S, TPM and other Lean Manufacturing techniques Assist with special engineering projects such as new product introduction, layout and/or process changes Assists the group lead or supervisor with work results; establishing priorities; monitoring progress; revising schedules; resolving problems; reporting results of the team on end of shift summaries Assist other groups (IT, Maintenance, Facilities, Production) as required or instructed by supervisor Be able to work on specific items with little to no supervision as well as being part of a crew or team Physical ability to lift and move production equipment such as benches, racks, carts, cabling and computers. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and electronic issues to ensure test and manufacturing equipment is operating according to requirements and specifications Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications and work orders to determine materials requirements or troubleshooting instructions or ensure compliance Collect data to prepare time studies, reports, work instructions, visual aids, flow charts and be able to submit recommendations for change Ability to interact with a proactive attitude and customer mindset when working with production associates, supervisors and coworkers from other areas or departments Supports the labor plan by filling in for missing personnel; accomplishing work results; driving established priorities; monitoring progress; resolving problems; reporting results to the supervisor.
