Job Description:

In this position, you will assist the Delivery and Service Team Leader [TL] and Associates with the coordination of the daily fleet, i.e., maintenance repairs, to include preventative maintenance, breakdown issues, and dispatches. Support drivers with the maintenance of all company fleet assets to include regular audits; evaluation of fleet, equipment and parts. Ability to work 8pm-4:30am and complete delivery routes as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate local backhauls with yard driver and other resources
• Report monthly driver information and weekly keys
• Assist customers/franchisees with service issues and drivers with store access
• Review PAR and People Net records for issues and compliance
• Assist with building daily outbound packages including keys
• Assist TL with coordination of repairs between service center/vendor, on-site technician and follow-up
• Act as resource for Driver questions
• Reconcile driver expense reports
• Assist TLs with monitoring DVCR books as equipment moves in and out during the week
• Assist TLs with monitoring driver logs for compliance
• Assist TLs with daily routing, participate in routing analysis, and ensure maximize delivery efficiencies, and driver safety through proper load spreading in load creation
• Act as an emergency CDL driver in case of call outs – this would include routes that can be up to 38 hours roundtrip

Job Requirements:

• Working knowledge of DOT
• Must have and maintain a valid class A Commercial Driver’s License [CDL] with appropriate endorsements
• One year of verifiable driving experience or proof of 25,000 miles of CMV driving experience
• Must pass DOT physical and remain qualified
• Must be at least 23 years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Must meet the defined MVR standards at all times to remain qualified to drive company commercial motor vehicle
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software and ability to learn other technology/software programs
• Ability to read maps and coordinate routes
