DoorDash Hiring – Sales Compliance Lead

Job Description:

We are looking for a Sales Compliance Associate who will draw relevant insights from large financial data sets, bring order-to-cash process improvements, and lead cross-functional compliance projects. You will understand the internal processes that guide data inputs and quality, allowing you to root cause compliance, reporting, contract, and system issues. You will also work directly with our sales team to understand and fix any compliance issues. You will report into the Head of Sales Controls for Sales Compliance on our Sales Strategy & Operations team, in our Merchant Strategy & Operations organization.

Job Responsibilities:

• Get to the lowest level of detail to deeply understand DoorDash’s products and systems
• Create actionable insights from large sets of data
• Develop and scale process improvements
• Work cross-functionally with Analytics, Sales, Product, Accounting, Finance, and Legal teams
• Help eliminate DoorDash’s third-party risk from a legal and financial perspective
• Directly impact DoorDash’s ability to recognize revenue and audit internal controls

Job Requirements:

• Excellent project management
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, vlookups)
• You love hitting numbers and making tangible impact.
• You know how to translate a north star goal into the relevant steps to get us there.
• 1+ years relevant experience in consulting, sales operations, accounting, or system and processes improvement at either high-growth tech startups or well-established companies
• Experience working in Salesforce (accounts, opportunities, record searching)
• Things never go according to plan. You have the determination and perseverance to keep working a problem as new challenges emerge, together with the ability to adjust plans or strategies.
• Ability to interact and build trust across all levels of the business
• Bachelor’s degree, Finance, Business, Economics, or relevant fields
  and desire to manage projects from day one
• You are always looking for new ways to contribute and make a difference.
