Job Description:

• easyJet wants to build a world-class Commercial function, deploying resource in an agile way to respond quicker than any competitor to the changing market. This team has the mandate, remit and capability to deliver change across the full breadth of an airline’s commercial playbook.
  As part of that team, we need someone that can deploy project management capabilities to a wide range of opportunities and projects. Reporting in to the Commercial agile team, the individual will remain closely connected to easyJet’s central Project Management Office and Program Delivery teams, both from a developmental perspective and in delivering project outcomes. This individual will be required to contribute to a wide range of different initiatives, but also identify opportunities for the agile team to go after

Job Responsibilities:

• Focus on the benefits and outcomes of Commercial change initiatives and projects, to agreed time, cost and quality metrics
• Perform project & work stream peer reviews to provide assurance in all delivery & benefit areas
• Support agreed change initiatives, projects or work streams, ensuring appropriate governance is in place, including support for failing initiatives
• Agree deliverables aligned with the Commercial team’s strategic aims and objectives
• Identify learnings and root causes, and supports their use to drive efficient delivery of future initiatives
• Drive alignment and performance to ensure deliverables are supported by embedded organizational & process changes
• Act as a point of reference for practices in change delivery and supports continuous improvement in business transformation
• Support the management of relevant external suppliers / stakeholders
• Work to enhance knowledge of best in class practices in change and project delivery to support continuous improvement in easyJet
• Ensure appropriate project or work stream level reporting is in place
• Support the management of work stream, project and other dependencies
• Work to achieve appropriate project business sponsorship, stakeholder support and engagement, alignment on outcomes

• Experienced in project management – Demonstrable capability of leading and delivering cross-functional projects and work streams, to cost, time and ensuring full benefit realization, spanning the breadth of “hard” and “soft” elements of the organization (e.g. strategy, processes, systems, structure, values, behavior, skills, engagement and communication)
• A challenger – You question the ‘why’ and ‘how’ to solve problems and achieve better outcomes and are confident reporting to and challenging senior management
