Job Description:
Support the Production of high-quality products for our customers by providing quality inspections during various stages of the production process. You will ensure the highest quality product is provided to our customers by verifying that the product meets all print requirements, and that the product meets all required specifications. You will support during customer review of the Hardware. You will be the voice of the customer to prevent escapes from the facility.
Job Responsibilities:
- Recommending any necessary adjustments and changes to production processes
- Inspect Hardware alongside of a Customer
- Able to open Team Center and associated MAP’s, CDP’s.
- Understanding of calibration principals, verifying equipment before each use
- Basic understanding of GD&T
- Basic documentation and reporting skills
- Understanding of SPC and capability studies
- Basic understanding of MSA (measurement System Analysis)
- Able to sign off on an inspection/MIP in SAP
- Able to generate a QN in SAP for a non-conformance found
- Ability to run a CMM manually to obtain basic dimensional characteristics
- Sign off inspection in SAP
- Problem solving and analytical skills
- Able to conduct visual inspection to a standard requirement
- Ability to run a re-programmed CMM program
- Use of basic hand metrology tools/gauges, such as Micrometers, verniers
- Able to interpret blueprints, drawings and standards
Job Requirements:
- College or University Diploma in a technical discipline
- 2 years of background with quality inspection in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to identify key details
- Ability to troubleshoot
- Creative thinking and idea generation
- GD&T knowledge and experience
- 1+ Year of experience working in a certified AS9100 environment
- 1+ Year of CMM experience
- Certified to IPC-A-610
- Understanding of production development cycle
- Understanding of SPC and process capabilities
- Ability to collaborate with others and work independently
- Meticulous attention to detail and error detection
- Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
- Understanding of quality systems and FAIR (PPAP) requirements
- Ability to analyze information and concepts
