We have an exciting opportunity for an Inside Sales Representative, to join our growing team in our Building Technologies Division at MK by Honeywell. The candidate will be based in Basildon, Essex.
The Inside Sales Representative will drive opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls, manage a group of existing accounts and ultimately drive sales results for the business. There is a possibility of a future progression into field sales for high performance candidates.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Generating qualified leads for the organization and either closing these directly or passing suitable larger leads to the field based sales team.
  • Using SalesForce.com and other CRM tools to record and input customer information, contact information, activity, sales opportunities and wins
  • You will work within a small team to facilitate calls, handle work flow, and minimize sales cycle times.
  • Understand customer needs and requirements to provide relevant solutions.
  • Supporting the organisations revenue & profit growth strategies. Find opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within existing customers.
  • Build relationships with prospective clients.

Job Requirements:

  • Highly motivated with a strong customer focus, excellent communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to present at all levels.
  • Knowledge of Cable Management, Wiring devices, Power distribution systems (Underfloor power) products is beneficial
  • A strong electrical, or mechanical technical understanding required
  • You’re Results-oriented, tenacious, and results orientated with a positive outlook, with a clear focus on driving profitable sales
