Job Description:

Achieve the development of on-site installation, servicing and repair processes of complex equipment and systems. You will provide technical presentations to an audience of customers, other industry peers and competitors. You will achieve revision and correction of work instructions and customer-facing training guides used by field installation specialists. You will drive continuous improvement initiatives in the processes related to field services and product development. You will lead cross-functional groups to quickly fix any administrative difficulties relating to delivery and installation of proper equipment. You will act as an escalation point for Field Service Specialists, Service Engineers, and other stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Represent Combisafe at the Various Federations that we are involved in. (EPF, Construct)
  • Update all training programs and presentations related to our product portfolio.
  • Aid with product and NPI development and any new training Modules that may need creating.
  • Carry out demonstrations onsite and in the safety center of our products for end users.
  • Make sure the training facility is kept in good working order and is presentable at all times for customer use. Make sure all products are displayed correctly and safe to use. Make sure the scaffolding is inspected and signed off on a periodic basis.
  • Attend site when called upon to look at issues with faulty products or misused products, or should there be a near miss or fatality onsite that may relate to our products.
  • Manage and create a list of installation partners covering all areas for UK & Ireland.
  • Log and create all certs and training ID cards and dispatch to completed candidates.
  • Deliver all internal training to staff on all products.
  • Create all training packs for competency training and make sure spares are always kept available.
  • Support the product sales managers when required in order to advise and persuade end users on the best solution for their requirements.
  • Support engineering when required should errors be made and onsite advise is required to help resolve any issues.
  • Support customers and Sales team with products purchased or rented. Attend site and carry out training and give advice on how to properly install and use the products purchased, and upsell where possible for other items that he may see are required onsite.
  • Carry out full competency training both onsite and in our training facility

Job Requirements:

  • Good written and oral communication
  • Advanced Degree
  • CSCS card
  • NEBOSH would be amazing as this has helped when dealing with customers, safety officers and HSE
  • Previous technical/installation experience
  • Previous customer service experience
  • IPAF card,
  • Harness and work at height trained
  • A training qualification – so they are insured to carry out training for both customers and staff and deliver EPF training as you will not pass the audit without this.
  • Scaffolding inspection qualification – so they can tag the scaffolding in the safety center otherwise this will have to be done by a 3rd party.
  • Good presentation skills
  • Full clean driving license
  • Previous industry experience
