Job Description:

We have an opportunity for a Workshop Technician to join our Elster Metering team in Luton. You will be responsible for supporting both laboratory processes and the NPI process within design. Utilising the equipment within the mould shop to assist in various tasks as detailed below.

Job Responsibilities:

• Creating jigs and fixtures for the NPI team
• Working as part of the team and getting involved in the design process
• Carry out tasks using manual milling, turning, grinding and drilling
• Work to engineering drawings
• Working to relevant health and safety requirements

Job Requirements:

• Ability to read engineering drawings
• Ability to use hand tools and relevant mechanical equipment within the workshop
• Hold a relevant engineering qualification or apprenticeship
• Proven track record of working in a manufacturing workshop
