Be part of a team assessing and driving achievement of program specific performance within Honeywell Building Technologies. You will partner with world class engineering’s and leaders to implement product strategies, develop program schedules and milestones, define technology road maps, and drive improvements in engineering quality and productivity.

We have an excellent opportunity for an NPI Project Manager to join the team delivering new products to the market and drive cross-functional Global teams to develop our power delivery and connected products. You will be working with all levels in the organisation including interaction with multiple business units and functional departments to execute the company’s strategic plans. The role will be based at our Basildon office.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop a detailed project plan to establish key milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies project problems, and obtains solutions.
  • Track and obtain approval for additional changes to the project scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Develop and communicate metrics around project execution across the projects.
  • End to end ownership from a project management perspective of the product delivery cycle. Direct all phases of projects from inception through market launch.
  • Deliver cost-sensitive designs to tight timescales for high low and volume products.
  • Work with 3rd parties and selected partners to deliver projects.
  • Coordinate the preparation of scope proposals, business plans, proposal work statements and specifications, operating budgets, and financial terms.
  • Lead resource analysis and forecasting by the project for all cross-functional resources including marketing, engineering, sourcing, etc.
  • Identify potential risks and issues, make and implement recommendations to management when escalation is required.
  • Facilitate the assessment of new product opportunities, consolidating technical, resource, cost, and planning data for the project or subsystem of major projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to identify and resolve major technical issues or other project issues and take ownership for driving these issues to closure.

Job Requirements:

  • Familiar with using tools such as Jira, Jira Align and accolade.
  • Practical knowledge of PPAP, DMFEA/ PMFEA
  • Experience managing End-to-End Product Development Lifecycle Projects, which includes ISC, Sourcing, Regulatory, QA
  • Good understanding of engineering (Software, Electrical, Mechanical) life cycle models.

  • Degree in Engineering.
  • Relevant amount of Project management experience
