As a key member of the supply planning team within our EP GBE, reporting to Material Replenishment leader with a matrix line to site leader.
You will be responsible for ensuring best practice in forecasting, performance, inventory, production, supply and financial planning across Electrical Products (EP).
You will play a key role in consistent and sustained business growth while enabling inventory / working capital optimization.
This role works closely with x-functional team members from Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and General Management to drive the full SIOP process, analytics, and business enablement being part of the Key Leadership Team (KLT)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a Team of 4 direct reports across the above Functional disciplines including Project Management disciplines (Transitions, Project and SIOP)
  • Work collaboratively with sourcing/planning
  • Leadership role with ownership responsibility for all Finished Goods Supply Planning, Production / Operations Planning, Tactical Buying /
  • Planning to support Operations as well as Buy to Sell (BTS) Planning (direct from Supplier / Vendor (where applicable)) for all LOB’s overseeing:
  • Supply Planning requirements
  • Support in-house operational issues / challenges being the conduit back to internal Honeywell Function
  • Track orders confirmation and deliveries
  • Optimize Material Management processes, practice, procedures and standard work
  • Improve Operating System maturity
  • Drive New Production Introduction (NPI) activities
  • Drive Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) activities
  • Intercompany requirements
  • Production Planning MRP proposals
  • Overview of pull-ins, push-outs,
  • Execution of drop shipments (where applicable)
  • Material plans and schedules
  • Optimizing system parameters and stocking strategy settings

Job Requirements:

  • Degree augmented with strong experience on the entire Supply Chain (Customer, Manufacturing, Supplier and Logistics)
  • Significant experience (+5 yrs) in broad managerial role leading teams within Supply Chain Management, Materials Management (incl. Supply and Materials Planning)
  • Significant influencing and collaboration skills
  • Expertise on leading / driving change, and mentor for new leaders or peers
  • Mathematical and basic statistical knowledge
  • Extensive Functional supply chain experience (5 – 10 yrs) in Production / Operations Planning, Inventory and Materials Management
  • Exceptional transactional experience in SAP R/3 and SAP APO understanding
  • Strong working knowledge of core processes in Supply Chain Management, SIOP, Demand Planning, Production / Operations Planning and Logistics
  • Expertise and exposure to different organizational disciplines
  • Lead and solve complex organizational problems
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills
