Job Description:

As our Producing Sales Manager you will serve as team leader for the origination of Premium eligible residential mortgage production for an assigned team of (Premium) Mortgage Consultants. Owns the development of mortgage business in large regional market (e.g. multiple states. The largest US metropolitan areas with mortgage funded production in excess of US$300 m annually) to ensure market share of high quality, saleable loans, acquisition of new-to-bank Premier /Jade customers. Serves as strategic bridge between the mortgage sales team within Wealth and Personal Banking and mortgage support functions, to include (operations, secondary marketing, servicing, compliance, quality control, risk management, marketing, product development, credit, etc. as the need arises.

Job Requirement:

• Minimum of seven years proven and multifaceted mortgage sales experience or equivalent, with exposure to lending to affluent clientele, as well as a minimum of three years supervisory or managerial experience or equivalent preferred.
• Strong background in FNMA, FHLMC, FHA, VA and SONYMA guidelines, compliance and quality assurance.
• Highly motivated and able to act independently.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, related field or equivalent experience.
• Solid understanding of specified region, to include economic and competitive landscape, centers of influence and historical and future perspective for the region.
• Excellent communication, sales, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Incumbents in this role must successfully register with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System Registry (NMLSR) and must acquire a unique identifier through the registry that will be provided to consumers with whom the incumbent interacts. In addition, incumbents in this role must successfully renew their registration with the NMLSR annually.
• Broad knowledge of the entire mortgage lending process, to include mortgage processing, underwriting, closing, servicing, secondary marketing (rates, fees, pricing, valuations, etc.).
