KEA Supply is part of IKEA Range & Supply and is responsible for securing that the product offer is produced and delivered to our customers. We lead the supply agenda across many functions and work together with all business areas, different business units, but also retail markets to secure customer availability in all markets and sales channels at lowest total cost.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Secure compliance in every customs declaration. Perform analysis, investigations and resolutions as necessary to ensure entry compliance and timely clearance
  • Respond to Broker request, Resolve operational issues, handle and solve incidents
  • Daily handling of information and documents to or from other IKEA units, external service providers and government authorities to ensure timely, accurate and compliant entry and release from authorities
  • Responsible for updating desk top standard operation procedures and working routines for your assigned tasks and/or countries
  • Support to your local partners in the countries that you work with
  • Identify, follow up and take action on inaccuracies and deviations
  • Contribute to a constant development and awareness of the processes
  • Maintain competence about the goods flow in your countries
  • Secure that you reach yours and the departments goals
  • Maintain competence regarding rules and the countries legislation
  • Maintain competence about which information are used in the systems applications
  • Manage customs security filings (ISF) in adherence to internal procedures and latest customs regulations
  • Secure communication with other IKEA units, external service providers and authorities where IKEA standards are not met
  • Entry preparation/writing for transmission of entry data to external service provider for entry submission purposes.
  • Applies for imports and exports for assigned region or country

Qualification & Experience:

  • Strong PC skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Access) at an intermediate or advanced level
  • Good ability to document and communicate in a clear way regarding manuals and working methods
  • Customs Brokerage License is a plus
  • Good knowledge in both speaking and writing in English
  • University degree required or equivalent work experience
  • Must be able to work independently but contribute to the whole of the team
  • Three or more years’ experience in a Customs brokerage environment is a plus
  • Preferred experience in logistics or supply chain
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills
