Job Responsibilities:
- Secure, develop, communicate, explain and follow-up of strategy, business plan and relevant actions
- Contributes to an environment where the IKEA culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers
- Secure that IKEA rules and guidelines as well as laws and regulations are followed
- Coach and support the development of individuals within the area of responsibility
- Secure that internal and external bench marking for key indicators is done and is followed
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Provide information about plans and results and gain understanding for their overall importance
- Develop and secure the organizational expansion of the own DC (competencies and process way of working)
- Develop and implement needed technology in the DC
Qualification & Experience:
- Eager to solve problems and suggest new solutions
- Proven leadership skills which enable to communicate, inspire and motivate IKEA co-workers
- Ability to utilize specialty computer applications
- Proficiency in Microsoft office
- Fluency in English
- Ability to implement structural way of working within area of responsibility
- Previous management experience preferred
- Good communication/negotiations skills, ability to “build” trustful relations
- Proven knowledge of social and environmental issues related to warehousing activities
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience with proven performance
- Knowledge of the Retail distribution
- Experience in supply chain management
- Be flexible
